Best Thesis Competition – Organized by the Iranian Power Electronics Society
The Iranian Power Electronics Society (PELSI), in conjunction with the 17th International Conference on Power Electronics, Drive Systems, and Technologies (PEDSTC 2026), will hold a Best Thesis Competition for theses and dissertations at the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. levels. Eligible participants are invited to submit the required documents listed below to take part in this competition.
A. Eligibility Criteria
Students whose thesis or dissertation is related to power electronics and who have defended their work between December 22, 2023, and December 22, 2025 (1 Dey 1402 to 1 Dey 1404) are eligible to participate. The minimum required grade for the thesis/dissertation is 19 out of 20 or an “Excellent” rating.
Applicants must send the following documents in a single compressed file, named as FamilynameUniversityname, to best.thesis.pe@gmail.com
Required Documents:
Full Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Full text of the thesis/dissertation
Official documentation indicating the grade and defense date
Evidence of achievements related to the project (e.g., publications, patents, books, awards, research projects, etc.)
Recommendation letter from the supervisor, mentioning project outcomes and the names of all supervising team members
Payment receipt of the registration fee deposited to the Iranian Power Electronics Society’s account
